Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah hosted a meeting on Wednesday evening with deans of faculties from Libyan universities. The event was attended by the Minister of State for Women's Affairs, Houria Tarmal, and Members of Parliament Aisha Shalabi and Rabia Abu Ras.  

Representing the University of Gharyan was Ms. Zainab Ahmed Zoliya, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences in Al-Asaba.  

During the meeting, Tarmal highlighted the government's notable efforts in supporting women and empowering them in leadership roles at both senior and mid-level positions, which she described as exceptional compared to previous administrations.  

In his speech, Dbeibah praised the Minister of State for Women's Affairs for organizing meetings with female leaders at all levels and for addressing the challenges they face in their roles within various institutions.  

He emphasized the importance of empowering women across all state institutions by providing them with appropriate opportunities, commending the efforts of Libyan women in building and elevating the nation.
